24 hours post-op Dr. Alan Beyer has had all of his drains and catheters removed, has had two physical therapy session, walked a few laps and is feeling good. He still hasn’t needed anything more than Tylenol for the pain, but warns that that isn’t for everyone.
It’s going home day for Dr. Beyer. Day two after surgery and he has had his dressings changed a few times and it’s looking good. Still only using Tylenol for the pain.
He reminds us of the importance of taking it easy once getting home – just because you’re home, doesn’t mean you’re healed! Take it slow, do your exercises and let everything heal! It takes time, and doesn’t heal faster just because you want it to.
