A Thank You to Dr. Steven Gausewitz

Effective July 1, 2018, Dr. Steven Gausewitz will be leaving the practice of orthopedic surgery to enjoy a well-deserved retirement with friends and family.

We would like to thank Dr. Gausewitz for his more than 35 years of contributions to the Hoag Orthopedic community. He has helped hundreds of thousands of people return to doing the things they love to do, and we’re pleased to know that he’ll now have more time to do the things that he loves too.

His knowledge, care, and dedication will truly be missed.

Dr. Gausewitz, who was a former chief of staff at Hoag Orthopedic, specialized in the treatment of degenerative and traumatic conditions that affect the hip, knee and shoulder. His focus was on adult reconstructive surgery, including primary and revision total joint replacement. In his spare time, Dr. Gausewitz enjoys fishing, mountain biking, and photography.
