Tayebeh Valadkhani is 2022 PT of the Year

Tayebeh (Tay) Valadkhani, PT is HOI’s 2022 Physical Therapist (PT) of the Year. She was selected by her colleagues for her professional and clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, patient outcomes and community service.

Tay was selected by her colleagues in physical therapy who shared comments like “Tay is an exemplary therapist. She is a phenomenal advocate for patient and family needs, is compassionate with patients and team members.” Her peers also commented on her professional care, communication with patients and colleagues and shared that Tay is “very understanding, has a way of making everybody feel comfortable, and provides a positive and safe environment for patients to begin their recovery.”

Tay was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She immigrated to United States in 2000. “I have had the privilege of working as a physical therapist at HOI since the beginning in 2010 and 3 years prior to that at Hoag hospital Newport Beach,” she said. Tay shares that her family is the joy of her life and that she enjoys every sip of my tea/coffee in the morning and her wine in the evening. She also loves practicing yoga in her spare time.
