About Dr. Brandon P. Hirsch

Dr. Hirsch is a dual fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon. Dr. Hirsch tailors treatments for each patient's individual spine problem. He believes strongly in the patient-centered model of healthcare and feels patients have the best outcomes when they are well informed about their spine condition and all options available for treatment.

While surgery is not required for the majority of spine conditions, when it is necessary, Dr. Hirsch utilizes the least invasive surgical techniques available to get patients on the road to recovery as quick as possible. As a result, many of Dr. Hirsch’s patients can return to the comfort of their home on the day of surgery. Dr. Hirsch is experienced in endoscopic spine surgery. This ultra-minimally invasive technique utilizes a high-resolution camera inserted through one or two dime-sized incisions, minimizing postoperative pain and speeding recovery.

Dr. Hirsch completed his medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine. Following residency training, Dr. Hirsch completed two year-long fellowship programs under world-renowned spine surgeons at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan. He also completed a visiting fellowship with world-expert endoscopic spine surgeons in South Korea.

In his spare time, Dr. Hirsch enjoys spending time with family, traveling abroad, cooking, and learning about new technology.
