HOI Adds More Doctors To Its Medical Staff

Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI), one of the largest providers of orthopedic care in the nation, has announced that it has added three more orthopedic surgeons to its medical staff. With the addition of these three physicians, HOI has added more doctors to its medical staff this year than any other time period since its founding in 2011.
“With our commitment to superior outcomes, orthopedic specialty focus, and growing national reputation, we continue to attract orthopedic specialists from around the U.S.,” said Steven L. Barnett, M.D., chief medical officer of Hoag Orthopedic Institute.
The new Hoag Orthopedic Institute medical staff are:
Orthopedic Surgery – Hand Surgery:
- Kevin Kim, M.D. – Dr. Kim attended the University of Arizona, Tuscon and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in physiology. He then completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University Nevada College of Medicine. Dr. Kim then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Nassau University Medical Center. He attended University of Connecticut and completed a hand surgery fellowship. Dr. Kim is currently a physician at NewportCare Medical Group.
Orthopedic Surgery – Foot and Ankle:
- William Wang, M.D. – Dr. Wang attended the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. He then completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Wang then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He attended UC Irvine Health System and completed a foot and ankle surgery fellowship. Dr. Wang is currently a physician at South Orange County Orthopaedics.
Orthopedic Surgery – Spine:
- Nickul Jain, M.D. – Dr. Jain attended Stanford University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. He then completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Jain then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of California, Irvine Medical Center. He attended University of Southern California and combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery fellowship. Dr. Jain is currently a physician at DISC Sports and Spine Center.
