Two Surgery Centers Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as Best Ambulatory Surgery Center

Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) is pleased to announce that its surgery centers in Orange and Mission Viejo have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as two of the Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers for Orthopedics & Spine. The Orange and Mission Viejo surgery centers are two of five that HOI operate in Southern California.

Ambulatory surgery centers were evaluated based entirely on objective, risk-adjusted measures of their patients’ outcomes, including how successfully they avoided complications, ER visits, unplanned hospitalizations and other undesirable outcomes. Out of the nearly 5,000 surgery centers rated, fewer than 15% earned a “High Performing” rating.
